My work
Hi, I'm Harper, the artist and creator behind Harper Crochets. My work has a focus on fantasy creatures and cute, fun critters. These two themes reflect myself as a fantasy and DnD lover as well as a huge over of all animals!
Some of my favourite pieces include my big stand out fantasy dragons, which act as show pieces on my market/convention stalls, and I pour my heart and soul into each and every one! The dragon below is my favourite to date and recently sold, the pattern designer of the dragon (Snuggle Beans Crochet) named him Pyrie and I think that's perfect:
The next dragon I want to showcase is this one which I dubbed my Coquette Dragon, as I freehanded all of its details including the giant bow for the wings, and the bow details on the horns and tail:
I also love making smaller makes which are cutesy or fantasy themed, such as goblins, wizard frogs, cats, chickens, and so much more! All of my small items are UKCA tested and compliant so they're safe for all ages and have been rigorously tested for strength and quality. (My larger pieces like the above dragons are in compliance with GPSR regulations across Europe, as they are for display and collectible purposes only.)
My current direction:
I'm currently mostly selling in person at conventions and the odd few craft markets, but I'm always working on keeping my website up to date and fresh (as much as I can while dealing with my chronic illnesses day to day) and I try to update my Instagram with what I'm up to as often as I can. My Instagram also is the best place to see a range of my past work as well as my previous events I've done.
